About this opportunity
This project is developing a large-scale cashew processing facility in Cambodia to capture value that is currently exported abroad. Cambodia is one of the world's largest producers of raw cashew nuts, yet the majority of production leaves the country unprocessed, allowing downstream processing margins to be captured elsewhere.
The project will establish an integrated processing operation capable of handling approximately 120,000 metric tons of raw cashews annually, converting agricultural output into higher-value export products for distribution into Asian, European, and North American markets.
The development is supported by identified feedstock suppliers, proposed international buyers, a dedicated industrial site, detailed engineering and equipment packages, and a comprehensive financial model. In addition to creating local employment and export revenue, the project aligns with national initiatives to expand domestic agricultural processing and strengthen Cambodia's position within the global cashew value chain.
