About this opportunity
The project is a phased LNG infrastructure development in India designed to expand natural gas access for industrial, commercial, and off-grid customers. It combines LNG import, storage, regasification, and virtual pipeline distribution to serve markets that are not adequately connected to conventional gas pipeline infrastructure.
Phase 1 will establish a 1.0 MTPA virtual LNG pipeline and retail distribution network, using cryogenic trucks and ISO containers to transport LNG from coastal infrastructure to inland industrial and retail consumers. Phase 2 will add a 2.0 MTPA regasification hub, utilizing floating LNG storage and onshore regasification infrastructure to supply natural gas to larger industrial users.
Together, the two phases are designed to provide approximately 3.0 MTPA of capacity, supporting industrial fuel conversion, improved energy access, and reduced reliance on more expensive and higher-emission fuels.
