Salt Mine | Canada

This project is an advanced-stage underground rock salt development in Atlantic Canada designed to establish a new, long-life source of high-purity salt for the North American market. The development contains a substantial defined mineral resource and reserve and is planned as a large-scale commercial mining operation focused primarily on supplying de-icing salt to U.S. and Canadian markets.

This project benefits from a strategically located coastal site with nearby port infrastructure, enabling efficient marine transportation to major population centers throughout Atlantic Canada and the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. Its location provides a significant freight and delivered-cost advantage compared with salt imported from overseas markets, while existing road, utility, and logistics infrastructure further supports development and operations.

This project has progressed through extensive feasibility-level engineering, mine planning, environmental assessment, financial modeling, geotechnical investigation, and technical due diligence.
