GGP is a private, American-owned company that is requesting funding in the amount of $220M (USD) to construct a plant located in Houston, Texas that will produce Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). This request presents an extraordinary lending opportunity in the Urea/DEF project led by the sponsor, a project designed to capitalize on the growing demand for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and urea. The project is aimed at addressing stringent environmental regulations and leveraging the increasing use of DEF in the automotive and industrial sectors. GGP has a long and respected history in this industry. Its expertise in its engineering services team leverages its experience and global knowledge to concentrate on refurbishing and installing micro-plants around the globe. The Engineering Services team also provides diversified services such as specialized worldwide plant relocation. GGP has a LOI from one of the worlds largest and most respected fertilizer companies who will enter into a long-term, take all off take contract. The sponsor expects to be able to complete the construction of the Houston plant in a period of 30 months, after which, Diesel Exhaust Fluid will be produced. $20m has so far been invested into this project.
